Some might call it nightmarish, we call it Warish. Warish is a very newly-minted SoCal trio formed in Album) that has wasted no time making its presence known. BONES FIGHT Now they'll be coming back on a tour of their very own this summer, and to support the tour comes this new 10", that ably demonstrates that Monolord may very well be the true heirs to Black Sabbath's soon-to-be-empty throne. Theirs is the doom sound for those who discovered it on the edge of town, in the cold rain, perhaps, as an escape from the squares who'll never understand.

Drenched in heavy, distorted darkness and steeped in occult horror that will make your skin crawl and ears cry sweet tears of blood, Slave To The Grave pulls no punches in the Swedish band's unabashedly bleak themes. GONE Last week the riff loving three piece released their first full-length release 'Nocturnal' online, and in an extremely kind gesture, have made the record available as a free download. The band's thick, groovy sound and keen songwriting skills are sure to endear them to fans of bands like Sleep, Down and Clutch, and 'Nocturnal' finds the band on fine form, busting out all manner of deep, fuzzy anthems in style.

First time on vinyl for this album. Hell, even if you've never wondered that, grab this album, it kills. Bewitcher's new album is a Blackened Speed Metal masterpiece. With no direction and zero discussion the two instinctually began banging out some massive caveman jams that could party as much as they could crush.

In the following months, the two recruited fellow rager Justin Sherrll for bass, and things got loud and heavy. LOST CROSS Subsumed within the greasy grooves of The Horse are echoes of NYC heavy legends like Helmet, Cro-Mags, Judge, Prong and others, not as an intentional homage, but rather a vibe that permeates and inadvertently gives it a unique power few can match.

Enter Portland, OR quartet Blackwater Holylight to further swirl musical elements into a captivating hybrid of emotional intensity. Heavy psychriffs, gothic drama, folk-rock vibes, garage-sludge and soaring melodies all collide into a satisfying whole with as much contrast as the band's name itself. Throughout this selftitled debut, the band's songs shirk traditional verse-chorus-verse structure in favor of fluid, serpentine compositions that move with commanding grace.

It doesn't sound like just four people, it sounds like a mob of wild-eyed lunatics on the expressway to your skull. And don't worry about not knowing what the band's name means. This is rock'n roll to the core and definitely not your parents kind of party. It may sound like a whole lot of nonsense psychobabble, but, in a way, the title of Danava's second album, UnonoU, is not only perfectly suited to this uniquely enigmatic, often downright perplexing band, but the word probably means something important in the language of their native planet.

Actually, there's a hypothesis! After all, Danava's eponnleinymous first album already suggested that they might be visitors from a distant galaxy, located somewhere between Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and Rush's favorite black hole, "Cignus X-1".

As if to corroborate this alien origin conspiracy theory, UnonoU's striking artwork is reminiscent of the golden era of sci-fi novels, and, just as did those Album) works by Asimov, Bradbury, Hei. The band has been playing together for over 8 years through different band names and genres. Dunbarrows clean, unadorned sound shares the unpretentious brilliance of classic heavy progenitors playing basements and barns, before the big budgets LP bloated habits diluted hard rock into an echo chamber awash in reverb and layered in distant, screeching hobbits.

The bands 9-track self-titled album is a classic in the sense that every song becomes instantly recognizable after just one listen. To further perfect their sound, the group teamed up with one of the most prominent producers in Norway, Christer Cederberg Anathema, Tristania for the first few days in order to get the sound just right.

Then, Espen did the rest. The result is as eponymous and definitive as its title. II It's a fun, tough, dirty rock 'n' roll album. LUNCH Look for them to support Higher Time on the road in North America and Europe throughout and beyond. EVIL CRUX This sophomore album is being released for the first time on vinyl and remastered for CD. The band's perfect hybrid of NWOBHM theatrics and American thrash attitude delivers a rousing and genuine expansion on sounds long lost to pointless battles over who can be the most "extreme.

MANIA In short, that's the underlying vibe to the self-titled debut by Here Lies Man. The L. The results are an incredibly catchy and refreshing twist on classic forms, without sounding forced and trite like some sort of mash-up attempt. Here Lies Man merges and expands musical traditions organically, utilizing the talents of drummer Geoff Mann son of jazz musician Herbie Mann and a host of skilled musicians to make Garcia's vision a reality.

Its eleven tracks expand upon the band's exploration of heavy riff-based rock and psych within the ancient rhythmic formula of the clave. Sonically, the dynamic range is thicker, crisper and more powerful on this album. It glistens as much as it blasts. The songs are even catchier, more anthemic, and the production reflects that of a band truly come into its own. While it also certainly maintains its gritty grooves, there's an interesting conceptual mathematics to the entire proceedings.

Lyrically, the album is also an equally more conceptualized effort that reflects upon states of being and consciousness-a driving force that carries throughout the words and moods of all of the band's releases, interconnected to their trancelike music.

This band have truly honed their sound and their focus, and soon, you will truly know nothing. HELL Their shared passion for riffs, reefer, and righteous half-pipes then blossomed into writing songs together.

The quartet's magnetism billows out from under a THC-spiked haze of doom riffs and psychedelic rock bombast, it's hypnotic. No export to Europe, ok for rest of the world.

Fittingly, there's a strong vibe of early Soundgarden, Saint Vitus and Kyuss to Temples in that it's undeniably heavy, but also clever in its experimentation with subtle tempo shifts, multiple vocal effects and other production techniques. But it's still more Sabotage than Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Long live New York City rock and roll. Mick's Jaguar is bringing noisy, wild, unafraid big rock back to NYC.

Crazy rents, corporatized venues, and kids listening to DJs: it's hard being a band in this town. This isn't LA and Mick's Jaguar is a product of their environment: a windowless dungeon practice space twenty feet below the trash covered sidewalk of the Lower East Side. Rats, grime, the sounds of the city; the band gleefully pillages the history of rock music to create thoroughly modern, but classic rock and roll.

Not quite punk, but not metal either, this is hard rock and roll that's been put through the brain blenders of six musicians who pair their Judas Priest shirts with Steely Dan hats. Summoned to the edge of the Earth, they journeyed west, collecting new sounds reminiscent of desert scapes, acid dreams, all-night prog vinyl spinning and a dark galaxy of protometal swirls, exalting the band unto new, wickedly brilliant horizons.

Now settled in the deep realms of Oakland, the ensemble continues to create cosmically proportioned, churning jams evocative of a rainbow of obvious inspirations but also numinous new sounds emerging from the organ - heavy riffs.

They'll knock your socks off, let your hair down and take you on a mind's eye exploration you won't soon forget. Though they exude love for the spiraling tapestry of heavy psychedelia of the past, they are on a rock and roll mission all their own: an unearthed prog band, futuristic in their time capsule, rocketing forward through the depths, gathering the sounds of space itself.

Mondo Drag had just come off the road after a month out with labelmates Electric Citizen and Slow Season, and their stage-honed, hard-won chemistry bleeds into every second of the record. Flat corrections usually retrace less of preceding impulse waves than do zigzags. They participate in periods involving a strong larger trend and thus virtually always precede or follow extensions. The more powerful the underlying trend, the briefer the flat tends to be.

Within impulses, fourth waves frequently sport flats, while second waves rarely do. Three types of corrections have been identified by differences in their overall shape. In a regular flat correction, wave B terminates about at the level of the beginning of wave A, and wave C terminates a slight bit past the end of wave A, as we have shown in Figures 14 and Far more common, however, is the variety called an expanded flatwhich contains a price extreme beyond that of the preceding impulse wave.

In expanded flats, wave B of the pattern terminates beyond the starting level of wave A, and wave C ends more substantially beyond the ending level of wave A, as shown in Figures 16 and In a rare variation on the pattern, which we call a running flat, wave B terminates well beyond the beginning of wave A as in an expanded flat, but wave C fails to travel its full distance, falling short of the level at which wave A ended.

There are hardly any examples of this type of correction in the price record. Triangles are overlapping five wave affairs that subdivide They appear to reflect a balance of forces, causing a sideways movement that is usually associated with decreasing volume and volatility.

Triangles fall into four main categories as illustrated in Figure These illustrations depict the first three types as taking place within the area of preceding price action, in what may be termed regular triangles. However, it is quite common, particularly in contracting triangles, for wave b to exceed the start of wave a in what may be termed a running triangle, as shown in Figure Although upon extremely rare occasions a second wave in an impulse appears to take the form of a triangle, triangles nearly always occur in positions prior to the final actionary wave in the pattern of one larger degree, i.

Their occurrence appears to be the flat correction's way of extending sideways action.
